How it works

1

Pick destination

Select where you're sending money — 28 countries across Africa, Asia, the Americas, and beyond.

2

Compare providers

See real fees, exchange rates, delivery speed, and what your recipient actually gets — side by side.

3

Send with confidence

Go directly to the provider. Only licensed, regulated services — no hidden fees.

Regulated providers only

Every provider we list is licensed by the destination country's financial authority. We verify licensing before adding any provider.

How we make money: Xrate2send earns referral commissions when you click through to a provider and complete a transfer. This is at no extra cost to you. We rank providers by recipient value — not by who pays us the most. Full disclosure →

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do providers show different exchange rates?

Most providers add a markup to the mid-market (real) exchange rate, and that markup is how they make money — some charge higher fees but give a better rate, while others advertise “zero fees” and compensate with a worse rate. On a few corridors with currency controls, such as Ethiopia, providers actually quote above the official reference rate, so we rank by total value received rather than by any single figure. How we measure this → Learn more about the mid-market rate →

How do I know these providers are legitimate?

Every provider on Xrate2send is licensed by the receiving country's financial regulator — for example, the National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE), Reserve Bank of India (RBI), or Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP). We verify licensing before listing any provider. Each destination page links to the regulator's official registry.

Is “zero fee” really free?

Not always. Providers with zero transfer fees often make money on the exchange rate markup instead. A “free” transfer with a bad rate can cost more than one with a small fee but a better rate. See how fees really work →

What exchange rate do you compare against?

An official one wherever we can: the European Central Bank's daily rates, plus IMF rates for currencies the ECB doesn't publish. Central banks publish no rate for most remittance destinations, and there we fall back on Wise's mid-market rate — which we say on the page, because Wise is also a provider we rank. How we measure cost →

How often are rates updated?

We fetch rates from every provider every 4 hours. Each comparison page shows exactly when the data was last updated. Actual rates may differ slightly — always confirm the final rate on the provider's site before sending.
